Traditional Dispute Resolution (TDR) and Customary Justice

In keeping with Article 159(2)(c) of the Constitution, we support the integration of traditional dispute resolution (TDR) within formal legal systems. We advise communities, county governments, and institutions on developing TDR frameworks consistent with constitutional and human rights standards. Our approach values reconciliation, restorative justice, and cultural legitimacy as integral components of Kenya’s justice landscape.
