BACKGROUND

Okumu is a Senior Associate at Odhiambo & Odhiambo Advocates with a strong background in litigation and dispute resolution across a wide spectrum of legal practice. His work spans Employment and Labour disputes, constitutional petitions, family and children’s matters, succession, commercial transactions, and public procurement disputes.

He has developed a deep interest in employment law, covering unfair and summary dismissals as well as employee remittances and trade union matters where he provides advisory on compliance, evaluation procedures, and dispute mechanisms. His recent work also reflects growing engagement with alternative dispute resolution and trade law, emphasizing efficient, client-centered legal solutions.
